This equipment consists of an SF6-insulated on-load switch disconnector (IMS) for sectioning and branching overhead lines, with the possibility for remote manual or motorised control.

In the presence of a remote motorised control, the equipment includes the remote signal reception system and the power supply unit, which consists of 24 Vcc batteries, which charge is maintained by a voltage regulator that can be connected to photovoltaic cell panels or a MV-LV transformer).

The stainless steel enclosure ensures SF6 gas tightness for 30 years. The sealed cap on the insulator enclosure ensures the recovery of the SF6 gas upon its disposal. The equipment is provided with a pole fixing support.

The automation part, power supply unit, and the opening and closing buttons of the manual control are installed in a stainless steel box placed at the base of the pole.

The units with PF6-insulated pole-mounted switch disconnectors are ENEL-approved and comply with DY806, DY807 and GSCM003 applicable standards.
